Irvine Chapter

NCSYer of the Month: Danya Clien:

Danya has been an consistent member at LNL on a weekly basis. She has attend all NCSY programming that has happened within the past month. Most notably Danya has brought new NCSYers to LNL which allows for growth within the Irvine chapter. Irvine NCSY has high exceptions for the February NCSYer of the month.

Las Vegas Chapter

NCSYer of the Month: Stephen Franko

In the short time that Stephen Franco has been with Las Vegas NCSY he’s grown tremendously in his understanding of Shabbat, Holidays and his Jewish Education. These are the fundamental ideals of Torah Judaism and of course the ideals of NCSY.

Arizona Chapter

NCSYer of the Month: Yael Domb

Yael Domb is our NCSYer of the month for her dedication and commitment to the growth of our chapter. Her leadership is the cause for our recent tremendous expansion. Yael is an exemplary student who is constantly pushing herself and others to learn Torah and grow.

NorCal West Chapter

NCSYer of the Month: Havneh Feder-Haugabook

Havneh was instrumental in organizing a chapter walkathon to raise money for NCSY and Lev LaLev, a girls orphanage in Israel.

City Chapter

NCSYer of the Month: Ilana Gindi

Ilana exemplifies what it means to be yourself; sometimes it is very difficult to balance your Judaism when all your friends are watching. As she strives more and more every day better herself, Ilana takes it a step further by carrying herself in such a way that enables her friends and those around her to look up to her.

NorCal East Chapter

NCSYer of the Month: Avi London-Wynne (9th grader at Berkeley High)

For anyone who knows Berkeley High, it is not easy to walk around wearing a kipa. But for anyone who knows Avi, he is some who stands by his beliefs. Avi is a constant inspiration – he is proud to be Jewish and is always striving to learn more about Judaism. Not only does he do Midrasha on Sunday mornings, but he also learns weekly chavruta with an NCSY advisor in our iLearn program.

Oregon Chapter

NCSYer of the Month: Shoshi Singer, Chapter Co-President

Shoshi has led the way with the preparations for our shabbaton coming up this shabbos here in Portland. She has been working around the clock first recruiting and then taking charge of decorations and being on top of the boards tasks. Shoshi continues to use her leadership skills to guide the way for some of the younger NCSYers who are just starting to be involved.

Valley Chapter

NCSYer of of the Month – Benji Kurnick

Benji Kurnick is the Valley NCSYer of the month for his increased involvement in Valley NCSY, beautiful Havdallah performances, and overall great attitude. Benji is always a pleasure to have at events. He is a role model in Jewish Practice and Middot (Character traits) for all who meet him. Thank you Benji Kurnick for being an outstanding member of Valley NCSY. Congratulations on being awarded Valley NCSYer of the Month.

San Diego Chapter

NCSYer of the Month: Adina Cohen

Adina is so dedicated to NCSY and the Jewish community. Whether it is driving teens to events or helping plan our Shabbaton, there is no job to big or too small for her. Thanks Adina!
