NCSYer of the Month: Justin Feldman

Although it is Justin’s first year in NCSY he has come out as a shining star.  Justin frequents his JSU club and Local DNL and LNL.  He was a key voice at the City Valley Shabbaton and is a pleasant face at Valley Torah High.  Justin has shown amazing Jewish growth in a short time and we cant wait to see what greatness will come in the future.

NCSYer of the Month: Davon Goldberg

Though Davon has just started coming to both Latte N’ Learning and Club since he found out about them, he has not missed one. He comes on a consistent basis while bringing new friends as well. Only a freshman, we look forward to hearing Davons name a lot more.

NCSYer of the Month: Matan Horenstein

Matan has been deserving of this great honor for a long time. As Co-President of Portland NCSY Matan continues to use his leadership capabilities to help the chapter grow. He has worked hard to recruit new teens as well as help mentor some of the younger teens to become more involved.

NCSYer of the Month: Sam Hodara

Sam is a model leader in his School and NCSY. Always asking what else he can do for his chapter, Sam has really developed as a Teen leader and respected board member among his peers. Earlier this year Sam set himself a goal, he wanted to raise enough money for “the pizza project” to send a less fortunate public school student to Israel this summer. As of early February Sam was half way to his Goal!

NCSYer of the Month: Molly Wethan

If anyone ever wrote up what a star NCSYer would look like, they would come up with Molly. Molly is a role model for her peers and is involved with NCSY on every level – coming to events, recruiting for shabbatons, and of course, learning The Shmuz with advisor Yael Bar every week. She not only is constantly looking for ways to grow in Judaism, but she is always inspiring others around her to grow as well.

Las Vegas Chapter

NCSYer of the Month: Raquel Mowery

Raquel’s positive attitude, Jewish pride and excitement in all that she is a part of is admired and contagious to all. In just a few short months, she has added a new dimension to the Las Vegas Chapter which we will saddened to see depart so soon. We wish her only the best on her move to the East Coast and hope to meet at a National Yarchei Kalah shabbaton real soon!

Abby Kostukovsky has been an integral part of our chapter since last year.  She has taken a leadership role as VP of chapter pride and she always the first person to volunteer at every opportunity.
